    Activity Objective

    CAR is the tool used to analyze CDR (Call Detail Records) and CMR (Call Management Records).  Call Detail Records provide information about who called who, when, how long and so on.  Call management records provide information about the quality of the connection, were there any packets lost how much jitter was there on the call.

    -          Run the Cisco Voicemail Port Wizard

    -          Add  2 ports

    -          Create a Line Group

    -          Create a Hunt List

    -          Create a Hunt Pilot

    -          Create Message Waiting DN numbers

    -          Create Voice Mail Pilot

    -          Create Voice mail profile

    High Level Task:

    -          Log into Unity Administration

    -          Select New Subscriber

    -          Add the subscribers extension number

    -          Test voicemail is working

    In this activity you will edit the Unity weekday Schedule and the holiday schedule

     

    High Level Task:

    -          Log into Unity Administration

    -          Edit the Weekday Schedule

    -          Copy the 2007 Holiday Schedule

    -          Add the Thanksgiving Holiday to the schedule

    -          Select the Opening Greeting Call Handler

    -          Create CTI Route Point in CUCM

    -          Test

    In this activity you will create a new Call Handler to transfer calls to an outside number. 

     

    BigCo Inc. has a requirement that if a caller press option 2 while in the Auto Attendant they must be forwarded to their off-premise emergency service. 

     
    High Level Task:

    -          Log into Unity Administration

    -          Create new Call Handler

    -          Configure the Call Transfer option

    -          Edit the Opening Greeting Caller Input

    -          Test

    In this activity you will run subscriber reports. 

    Your Manager would like you to run some Unity Subscriber reports.  She would like to see a Subscriber and Message Activity report for the users. 

     High Level Task:

    -          Log into Unity Administration

    -          Select the Reports to run

    -          Access the Reports Directory

    -          View the reports
